Hello, Paul. What law would you like to break?

I really like that film 'The Man Who Knew Too Little' when Bill Murray starts running over all the cones and violating traffic laws. I'd quite like to do that with the police chasing me, maybe on the Hanger Lane gyratory.

What food would you like to eat?

I've eaten most things, actually. I'm definitely not afraid of putting things in my mouth! There are certain things I won't eat though. I don't eat eggs, and when we were in China the band were eating ant omelettes. Obviously I couldn't eat those because I don't like eggs. The ants were fine, it was the eggs I was worried about. And scotch eggs too! They were mad. Haven't had one since I was a kid, bonkers food.

What musical genre would you like to experiment with?

I always wanted to be in a hair-metal band but I lost my hair at the age of 20 so that scuppered my chances. We had a really good song that would've been massive called 'I Like Drinking And Driving'. It was heavy rock but also a bit Status Quo. We used to play that on our American tour just to baffle people.

What would you like to say in an interview?

I've said really inappropriate and terrible things and always regretted it. I'd probably like to say something appropriate and kind; I have a sort of Tourette's syndrome! Think of the worst thing I could say and I'll say it.

What religion would you like to dabble in?

I hate all religion, really. Maybe the religion of U2! Maybe Bono is for me...

What instrument would you like to be able to play?

I'd like to play keyboards really well. I can play them a little bit but I'd like to be a really great pianist. But to have the muscle memory you have to have started playing at about four years old. But then you resent it and kill your parents!

Which item of clothing would you like to wear?

I'm slimming down at the moment and would like to get so thin that I could wear a wife beater vest. I'd have to get my back waxed though (I have a hairy back...). But I'm on a strange diet; I went and took this crazy drug called Ibogaine, which is like a psychedelic root (that guy Bruce took it on the show 'The Tribe'). You trip out for about 40 hours and during that time you can restructure your belief system. So I've stopped smoking and I haven't had a drink or eaten anything unhealthy since. They give it to heroin addicts to interrupt their addiction - it has quite a good success rate. So, maybe one day I'll get into a wife beater vest.

Which animal would you like to stroke?

I'd really like to cuddle a gorilla if it wouldn't crush me to death. I'd like to get into a gorilla's cage and just hang out for the day.
