Vatican 'forgives' John Lennon

A Vatican newspaper decides to show Christian forgiveness towards John Lennon, decades after his controversial remark that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus.
L'Osservatore Romano marked the 40th anniversary of the Beatles' White Album by praising Lennon and the fab four and excusing his remark as "showing off, bragging by a young English working-class musician''.
