Architects from Rogers to Foster want to save Robin Hood Gardens in east London

Those trying to save a 1960s concrete council estate include some of Britain's best architects and developers.
From Richard Rogers to Norman Foster, all have argued that Robin Hood Gardens, a social housing estate in East London should not be demolished.
Most residents say it should, but as its backers consider whether to appeal, could the real answer lie in looking at the basic problems of sink estates?
