Gore's recycling jibe at McCain

Republican presidential hopeful John McCain would recycle the failed policies of President George Bush if elected in November, former vice president Al Gore has said.

Mr Gore, who won the Nobel Peace Prize last year for his work on global warming, said the 71-year-old Arizona senator represented the same failed policies "all over again" at a time when America needed change to tackle its problems.

"Hey, I believe in recycling, but that's ridiculous," he said.
