Biography

Katie Brown joined Channel 4 news in 2003 as a producer and since 2006 she's worked as a producer/director on More 4 News.

A mulit-skilled journalist, Katie films and reports a wide range of domestic and foreign stories. Most recent films include African migrants travelling to the Canary Islands, mass graves being exhumed in Spain and the lack of services available to elderly alcoholics in Britain.

Her broadcasting career began in 1997 as a trainee at Channel One Television.

Katie went on to become a film producer making short documentaries for the Discovery Channel and National Geographic.

She joined ITN in 2000 as a producer/camera operator for Powerhouse, a Channel 4 current affairs programme and joined Channel 4 News three years later.
