Biography

Prior to becoming business reporter, as a general reporter and presenter Katie covered a wide range of domestic stories - from securing a TV exclusive on the Trupti Patel murder trial, to reporting on animal rights extremism and producing sports reports.

Katie Razzall is one of Channel 4 News' team of general reporters. She joined ITN in 1998 as a News Trainee and was an award-winning producer before her promotion. She also co-presents the show.

Katie reported on the tsunami from Sri Lanka where she was on her honeymoon. She covers a wide range of domestic stories, including court cases, animal rights extremism and politics.

Her coverage of the Trupti Patel murder trial ensured the programme its TV exclusive with Trupti and Jay Patel after Mrs Patel was sensationally cleared of killing three of her babies.
